DESCRIPTION:Our next CrimeCraft\, “Exploring the World of Audio with Robin Miles\,” will take place Tuesday\, July 2\, at 6:00 p.m. via Zoom. \nRobin is a producer/director/actor with over twenty-five years of experience in theater and audio performance. She has garnered the industry’s top honors\, including Audie Awards for Best Solo Performance and multiple genres\, PW and Audiofile Voice of the Year awards\, Audiofile’s Golden Voice\, Grammy finalist\, Audible Hall of Fame\, and Earphone Awards. Her work spans Broadway\, TV\, audiobooks\, documentary film\, museum installations\, ADR\, and commercials. She attended Yale University (BA)\, the Yale School of Drama (MFA)\, and the British American DramaAcademie at Oxford. She teaches speech and acting at Pace University\, and owns Voxpertise®\, a NYC production & training studio. This play\, an adaptation of the Agatha Christie novel\, is a world premiere. A reporter from The New Yorker will likely be joining us to interview the group to hear what seasoned crime writers think about the play. It’s a terrific opportunity to see each other in person\, attend a new play based on the work of one of our favorite crime writers\, and maybe\, just maybe\, see your name in print in The New Yorker. A win-win all around! \nWith 12-16 participants\, Patricia will be able to secure a 20% discount on the ticket price.
