CrimeCONN 2026, Connecticut’s acclaimed annual, one-day mystery writers and readers conference at the Ferguson Library in Stamford, CT, (a forty-five-minute train ride from Grand Central), is set for May 16. The day includes five author panels, a forensics presentation and writers workshop. Lunch and coffee served all day. Discounts for seniors, students and MWA members. This year’s theme is:
Pick Your Poison. Crime writers who write what they know. And love. The mystery genre is full of sub-genres and sub-sub genres. Learn how writers convert their life experiences, or compelling interests, or just plain curiosity, into mystery and suspense.
