MWA board member Carol Binkowksi and author Andrew Kass chatted recently at the Staten Island Ferry Terminal’s scenic River Dock Cafe about the origin of an American Civil War story set in England and the craft of realizing the setting and its people. The discussion was part of the Harborside Book Launch Celebration for Kass’s Civil War spy thriller A Woman of Agency. Kass also read a first-chapter tease of his second book in Viola Ross’s War, working title Shattered Harborm, whichhe is currently refining with Holand Press’s editor’s letter.
