Nina Wachsman’s third novel in the Venice Beauties mysteries, The Courtesan’s Pirate (September 2024), has been nominated for an Anthony for Best Historical. The series is set in 17th century Venice, and this latest entry features a former Venetian courtesan who travels to the Caribbean to rescue her pirate lover.
