Four authors in the New York chapter of Mystery Writers of
America (MWA-NY) will read aloud from their work at 7 p.m. on
Thursday October 29, in the bookstore/café Bibliotheque in SoHo.
Terrence Dwyer, a retired homicide and organized crime investigator from the New York State Police, is a Connecticut-based author who puts his experience and expertise to use in writing true crime. His memoir, The Badge Between Us: Duty, Marriage, and Family, was released in February by Bloomsbury Publishing. He is currently working on a book about a 50-year-old missing person murder mystery that takes place in New York and the Deep South. Cathi Stoler is an Amazon best-selling author. Her mystery novels are Nick of Time, Out of Time, and No Good Time, featuring professional blackjack player, Nick Donahue. Laura Antoniou is a Queens-based author best known for her erotic Marketplace series. She will read from her wickedly funny—and kinky—murder mystery, The Killer Wore Leather: a Rainbow Award winner and Lambda Literary Award finalist for Lesbian Mystery, which centers on NYPD detective Rebecca Feldblum as she investigates a
murder at an international leather convention.
Nancy Good is the bestselling author of the nonfiction book How to Love a Difficult Man. She has been interviewed on Oprah and other talk shows (“Not recently, but I have been!”) She has also written short stories that have been in anthologies published by the New York/Tri- State chapter of Sisters In Crime. She will read from her Melanie
Deming Manhattan Murder Mystery Series.
