Aspiring writers in mystery and its sub-genres: Now’s the time to apply for the Leon B. Burstein Scholarship. Applications are open until Oct. 7, 2020. And if you know an aspiring writer who could benefit, please share this with them!
- The scholarship offers financial support to aspiring mystery writers who live in the six states served by our chapter—Conn., Del., N.J., N.Y., Penn. and W. Va.
- Two awards will be given to cover actual expenses not to exceed $1,000 for classes, conferences or research needed for a mystery work in progress.
- Associate and affiliate members of MWA are eligible to apply; active MWA members are ineligible. Non-members may apply provided they would not meet the criteria (publication or platform) applied to active members.
