Metropolitan Museum of Art (1000 Fifth Avenue Manhattan, NY 10028)
MWA members only.
Sign up now! Limited to the first 25 attendees.
Please Arrive Early! Hunt must start PROMPTLY at 1 p.m.
Follow the clues! Find the answers! All inside the Met, where art and mystery cross paths.
Fans of murder mysteries and The Da Vinci Code will enjoy this unusual adventure at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. A murdered curator has left behind a cryptic trail of clues connected to secrets in works of art.
Amateur sleuths will have fun detecting unusual details in art, piecing together the story, and delighting at some of the surprising discoveries. No knowledge of the museum or its art is required—all you need are sharp eyes, comfortable shoes, and good teamwork.
The hunts are not races, and running disqualifies you. The hunts are a test of your wits and your teamwork, not a test of physical fitness.
NOTE: Participants will use their own smartphones to access the web-based application for the hunt. The app works on any smartphone. There’s no need to visit an app store to download and install anything.
MWA-NY will email or text you the meet-up location once you have registered.
