MW-NY Panel: “From the Classics to the Contemporary”

“The past is the present, isn’t it?” Eugene O’Neill famously asked in Long Day’s Journey into Night.

A terrific discussion with MWA-NY members Steve Liskow, Chris Knopf, and Erica Obey (moderator) was held at the Avon Library in Avon, Connecticut,, on October 10

on the topic “From the Classics to the Contemporary: How Does Crime Fiction of the Past Influence the Present?” Panelists dove into this fascinating question and discussed the impact of the classics on today’s writers.
