Death by Gravity: This month’s crime-themed cocktail recipe from author Sharon Linnea

Bartender Avalon Nash is also a master mixologist. At the end of each chapter in the Bartender’s Guide to Murder books, she shares a drink that has something to do with the action. She is helped, greatly, by series author Sharon Linnéa and nationally award-winning mixologist Jamie Brydalski.

This month, Brydalski stirs up Death by Gravity, which is also the title of the second book in the series.

Death by Gravity

(Truffled Bleu Cheese Dirty Martini)

Ingredients

  • 2 1/12 oz Lake Placid Spirits 46 Peaks Vodka or your house favorite
  • Dash of olive juice
  • Dash of truffle oil
  • Crispy bacon
  • Blue cheese stuffed olives 
  • Ice
  • Martini glass

Method

  • In cocktail shaker combine vodka, olive juice, truffle oil and ice.
  • Gently shake ingredients together.
  • Strain over martini glass. Garnish with crispy bacon and blue cheese stuffed olives
